Muhammad Ali is a Senior Standards Strategy and Policy Leader for HP, Inc. He is responsible for managing the external standards engagement and leading HP’s efforts in US-based standards organizations. He is a Certified Standards Professional with over 13 years of leadership in voluntary consensus-based standards development, conformity assessment, and emerging technologies in consumer and electrical industry sectors. Ali previously served in standards development program management and regulatory compliance roles. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and has served on the Society for Standardization Professionals (SES) as a Board Member. He currently serves on the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) Executive Board and is also a JTC 1 appointed (Publicly Available Specifications) PAS mentor. He is a past recipient of the ANSI Next Generation Award, SES Emerging Professional Award, INCITS Chair Award, and ANSI George S. Wham Leadership Medal.
