Advisory Board: Rohit Israni

Rohit Israni is the Founder and CEO of Certient AI, a startup focused on oversight and assurance for next-generation autonomous and emergent AI systems. He also serves as Chair of the U.S. committee (INCITS/AI) responsible for participation in international AI standards (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42) and acts as liaison for SC 42 with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and ML Commons. Previously, he led Intel’s global AI ecosystem programs and co-founded the Intel AI Builders partnership program, building engineering and research alliances across industry and academia worldwide. Earlier in his career, he developed advanced machine learning algorithms at Imaging Technology, an MIT AI Lab spin-off, and at KLA-Tencor’s Advanced Technology Group, where he was awarded multiple patents. Rohit earned a master’s degree in engineering with a specialization in robotics and AI from Tulane University and a master’s degree in management science and engineering from Stanford University.
