Tom Lubinski is President and CEO of Quantum Computing Data, where he focuses on research in quantum algorithms, simulation, and application-oriented benchmarking of quantum computing systems. Over the past decade, he has worked closely with leading quantum hardware and software teams, including Quantum Circuits Inc., where he served as Senior Technical Advisor and previously held the position of Chief Software Architect. Since 2016, he provided strategic guidance on the software architecture for the company’s Quantum Computer Control System, ensuring consistency across the full software stack.
As Quantum Circuits’ representative to the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C), Tom served as Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee on Standards and Performance Metrics for three years and continues to lead efforts to develop application-oriented benchmarks, including early open-source initiatives. Previously, he founded SL Corporation, which became a market leader in real-time process monitoring and control systems software across multiple industries. During his 37-year tenure as CEO and CTO, he guided the company through multiple generations of product development, contributing to thousands of successful customer implementations worldwide.
