Advisory Board: Stephen Walls

Stephen Walls manages The Boeing Company’s External Standards and Standards Production teams, providing standards professionals, processes, tools, data, and strategies to ensure Boeing takes advantage of the massive value of both internal and external standards. Stephen is Chair of the AIA Standards Governance Council, Vice Chair of the ANSI Company Member Forum, Chair of the US TAG for ISO TC 20 (Aircraft and Space Vehicles), and participating member in the ANSI ISO Forum, ANSI ISO Council, ANSI National Policy Advisory Group, and ANSI International Policy Advisory Group. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from University of Alabama-Huntsville. Stephen’s exciting 15-year career in engineering and leadership has included work with Navy marine mammals, aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, manned space rockets, ballistic missile defense systems, and (the pinnacle!) standards.
