Alan is currently the VP, New Product Innovations, for PDF Solutions.
He has more than 50 years in the semiconductor industry, starting at Texas Instruments in the mid-1970s. His experience includes semiconductor design automation, equipment and factory control system architectures, Advanced Process Control (APC) and other key semiconductor manufacturing applications. He is also an expert in the industry standardization process, having joined the SEMI Standards Program in 1990 while at Sematech. He has been active in development, implementation, and promotion of Information and Control Standards (especially GEM and EDA) ever since.
Alan is a frequent author and speaker at global industry technical and trade events, and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University (Houston, Texas) and graduate credits in AI/Machine Learning from the University of Utah.
