Nadya Mason is Dean of the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and interim Vice-President for Science, Innovation, and Partnerships at the University of Chicago. As an experimental quantum physicist, her research is relevant to applications involving nanoscale and quantum computing elements. Dr. Mason is also an advocate for communication and inclusivity in science; her TED talk on “Scientific Curiosity” has over 500,000 views. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, is on the Board for the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park, and was a member of the President’s National Quantum Initiative Advisory Committee.
