Robin Bowles is the Data & Information Sharing Hub Manager for the Advancing Standardization for Critical and Emerging Technologies (ASCET), a division of ASTM International. In this role, she leads the architecture, governance, and evolution of ASCET’s core information infrastructure. Robin is responsible for the full site’s information architecture and content strategy, building the pathways that drive engagement in critical and emerging technology sectors.
With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of information science, technology, and operations, Robin has built a career managing complex data systems in health technology, higher education, and highly regulated environments. She most recently served as the Vice President of Operations at Rajant Health Inc., where she oversaw operations, IT, and compliance for health technology platforms while managing multimillion-dollar federal contracts. Her background also includes serving as the Director of Libraries at Montgomery County Community College and a decade at Villanova University.
Robin is an expert in enterprise data governance, information architecture, and audit readiness. She holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Science & Math from West Chester University. Additionally, she holds professional certifications in Data Analytics and Cybersecurity. She resides in suburban Philadelphia with her family and dog and enjoys needlework and kayaking in her free time.
